In mid-February 2025, the joint training of soldiers from the 5th Special Forces Regiment and policemen from the Prešov and Trenčín Emergency Police Units on alternative methods of deployment from the UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter took place at the Trenčín airport.
      The training was supported by the 51st Wing of the Slovak Air Force from Prešov with aviation equipment and personnel. The main purpose of the activity was to improve and harmonise FAST ROPE and FULL LANDING techniques from helicopters in the open and on buildings. Other objectives were to practise procedures and command techniques on board the helicopter and to practise direct action by the sniper team with other elements to detain the vehicle and its crew.
